Rod Ends
FRM plain bearings represent a robust and reliable solution for a wide range of industrial applications. Composed of two steel rings, a cylindrical outer one and a spherical inner one, these bearings offer self-alignment and are subjected to a black oxidation surface treatment, except for the GE(00)UK FRM series, which has a chrome surface treatment on the inner ring. Our manufacturing process ensures that the outer ring of the plain rod bearings has an axial break to accommodate the ball bearing. These bearings are designed to withstand radial, axial and combined loads with minimal maintenance and long service life.
Tampas
In addition to applications where extra protection is required, FRM covers are ideal for isolating shaft ends, providing maximum protection while respecting safety standards related to exposed rolling elements. The standard lines of FRM covers are available in stamped steel (S, SE), cast iron (C, CE) and rubber (ECY A, ECY B) and can be blind or through. The silicone inner cover (TI) and the cast iron rear cover (TT) are only available in the through-hole type. All are fitted to most FRM set series. However, depending on specific needs, FRM develops or adapts covers for its bearing sets. An example are the B00 and BF00 covers, produced in nitrile rubber and a metal core, which have the distinguishing feature of the sealing contact on the bearing's inner ring.
Rubber Cartridges
FRM synthetic conductive molded rubber cartridges have wide range of applications in domestic heaters, ventilation equipment, air conditioners, etc. It operates silently, can be mounted on sheet metal bearings or pressed into tubes, absorbs small shocks produced by light loads and corrects small shaft misalignments. The bearings are pre-lubricated with long-life grease, as they cannot be relubricated. They are produced with a hardness of 80 ± 5 "shore A" but can be ordered according to your needs. FRM Food Line assemblies have been specially designed to offer exceptional corrosion resistance in challenging environments such as acids, alkalines and salt spray. In addition to their superior corrosion resistance, these assemblies are relubricatable, which ensures a long service life and easy maintenance. Operating in a temperature range between -30ºC and +100ºC, the FRM Food line sets are suitable for a variety of environmental conditions. Additionally, they are interchangeable with corresponding iron sets, offering additional flexibility and convenience to users.
